Frequently Asked Questions
Does the ofinto Ergo have a disc/lumbar support?
Yes. The ergonomic office chair ofinto Ergo features a disc/lumbar support. Unlike most conventional office chairs, this support is not visible but discreetly integrated into the backrest frame. The ergonomically important support of the lower lumbar vertebrae is achieved through precise control of the mesh tension. The height of the support can be easily adjusted using two levers integrated into the frame.
Can the armrests of the ofinto Ergo be removed?
Yes. The armrests of the ofinto Ergo can be removed or left uninstalled without affecting the chair's synchronous mechanism. For this reason, we offer the ergonomic office chair ofinto Ergo both with and without armrests.
Are the castors of the ofinto Ergo suitable for hard floors like wood or parquet?
Yes. The ofinto Ergo features universal castors made of high-quality polyurethane (known as PU castors). These castors are not only quiet and shock-resistant but also have the ideal hardness to prevent scratches on hard floors such as stone, parquet, or laminate. Nevertheless, for particularly sensitive floors, such as antique wooden floors, we recommend using a floor protection mat for added safety.
How does the ofinto Ergo differ from the ofinto Active?
The ofinto Ergo is the all-round ergonomic choice at a fair price. It has all the essential features that a good ergonomic office chair should have: A synchronous mechanism that regulates the backrest resistance based on the user's body weight, an adjustable backrest, lumbar support, adjustable armrests, and a depth-adjustable seat. The ofinto Active builds on these features and adds a four-level adjustable backrest resistance and an optional 3D mechanism for active dynamic sitting. The ofinto Ergo impresses with its simple, slim design and frame-integrated lumbar support, making it well-suited for tight spaces without taking up too much visual space. The ofinto Active, on the other hand, catches the eye with its brushed aluminium base for the backrest.
